@demsorbust – The leather conditioner I used to remove the scratches on my Coach purses is called “Apple Brand’s Leather Care”. It came highly recommended from the ladies on the Purse Forum. It works great and doesn’t leave any odor. I ordered it direct from the company’s website. Good luck with your new vintage Coach!

@demsorbust – I know huh, this Marc Jacobs “Beat Bag” is gorgeous! I got it this past November (2009). The last time I was at Bloomingdales (a couple of weeks ago), they were not carrying it. I did see it for sale though, a month or so back, on a discounted website and they were selling one at half price (around $500-$550 & it was in a blue color, mine is black), so you might be able to find it somewheres.
