Yes, I did clean the handles. It is perfectly fine on the vachetta. Whenever the leather gets a bit dirty, just wipe on it a bit, and it should get lighter.

ive always loved …
ive always loved the monogram but awhile back when damier came out i started no to like it that much..and i think its only because of how the handles get dark. I just wouldnt want mine to get too dark.

is Apple LC more of a conditioner? I would use the baby wipes to remove the dirt and oils, then use ALC to protect the leather.

have you had any problems with the vachetta getting dry or cracking? On the purse forum some said that baby wipes are very drying, is this true? I was wondering because I have a Mono Speedy 30 and it has such a nice patina, but underneath the handles there are some dark marks I want to remove. I routinely clean my handles and piping with Apple Leather Care, and this does a nice job, but it will not remove the dark marks I’m talking about.

you would hate to see my keep all I’ve had it for like 6 years and I haven’t cleaned it. I kind of like that it can take a beating though. I didn’t know I could clean it with baby wipes. I may try that.
