What’s a good Louis Vuitton bag to get my mom for her b-day?
She's 51 but looks about 37 or 38. She loves Louis Vuitton but I have no clue what bag to get her. She's not like a old lady so I want to get her a classy bag but one that's not too young. My GF was supposed to help me but we ended up breaking up 4 days ago. I was thinking one of those dark brown checkered bags and a wallet? or maybe like a clutch and a scarf?
You should just casually bring it up and ask her if she likes the damier LV stuff (that's the checkered line of bags, wallets etc) Find out what her fav pattern is then go from there. I feel like matching the wallet with the bag is more of a younger person thing. You could get her a pair of sunglasses and the speedy damier. Most of their sunglasses are about $650 so it's not too too bad and it sounds like you're willing to spend some $$. Then the Damier ebony speedy 30 or 35. It's a good style for younger or older people. A scarf would be good but sunglasses would be so much better. Or you could do the sunglasses and the small vernis bag that has a chain strap. It's about $800 so it's about $100 more but it comes in black so it's perfect for everyone. I can't remember the name of it but you'll see it at the LV store.
