Buying a LOUIS VUITTON SPEEDY bag
This is video is for any of you who are looking into buying a louis vuitton speedy but can't decide what style or size you want!
I had a hard time choosing which style and size speedy I wanted and there weren't a lot of videos on youtube that compared them and so I wanted to make one and tell you my pros and cons....hope it helps!
Pros: (Damier Ebene 35)
- waterproof
- easy to clean
- all year-round bag
- handles won't patina
- no water stain marks
- versatile everyday style
- less knock offs made in this style
Cons: (Damier Ebene 35)
- the dyed leather handles aren't as soft as the cowhide handles on the mongram and damier azur styles

Hmm yeah i have a vintage speedy monogram from ‘85 and it’s cute, but very old and small! I’ll be getting it on Friday, so I’ll definitely let you know! Btw are you apart of the purse forum?

@fallenouttalove youtube wouldn’t let me fit everything in one comment………If you’re buying online, you can look at the dimensions…but the 35 is a good 2″ bigger length wise and 1″ more width and length. I hope that helped…when you buy your bag, let me know which bag you ended up getting!

@fallenouttalove For most people the 30 is a perfect size, great for everyday use. Like I said in the video you can fit a water bottle with no effort. . If you’re like me and you tend to carry around a bit more extra things then I would say go for the 35. I’m only 5′3″ and the 35 doesn’t look huge on me at all, you’re 5′5″ so you would be perfect. If you’re buying it at the LV store, it’s easier to compare the sizes there.

Yeah actually almost everyone on YouTube pronounces it wrong in the American way as in how it’s spelled. It’s kind of annoying, but it’s good you got it down now! I’m contemplating on getting either the same purse either in 30 or 35. Not sure as of now, but I’m getting on this coming week and need to decide! I’m 5′5 and not sure if the 35 would be kind of too big. Thoughts?

@fallenouttalove I admit I didn’t know how to pronounce it, just kind of winged it for the video lol. I’m sorry if I said it wrong, I actually looked up the correct pronunciation after you told me, thnx! …but I’m glad it was informative, that’s what I wanted people to take away from this video. ^_^
